Hello everyone,
My name is Allison Kipta. I'm a graduate of Western Illinois University (WIU, Bachelor of Arts, Instrumental Music Education K-12 Special, 1982) and the University of Maryland University College (UMUC, Master of Distance Education, 2008). I'm a technical writer, technical trainer, U.S. Navy veteran, former public school music teacher, social media enthusiast, and lifelong learner. I started tinkering with computers and software in 1983 and have been on the 'net since 1994.
I actively contribute to the UMUC Master of Distance Education (MDE) Student Lounge email list, and I've been a mentor in the MDE Peer Mentoring Program.
